How Pick and Pack Fulfillment Works

Pick and pack services cover everything that happens between an order being placed and the parcel reaching the carrier, locating the items, checking them against the order, and packing them with the correct labels and paperwork. Warehousing and pick and pack are typically handled together in the same facility, by the same team, under one agreement, with same- or next-business-day turnaround against an agreed cutoff time.

Pricing is usually structured as a storage fee plus a per-order pick and pack fee, with a smaller charge for each additional item in multi-item orders (a blended per-order rate can often be arranged instead). This model tends to work best for brands with a small number of SKUs and high order volume, since manually-run floors are a weaker fit for very heavy items at scale or sprawling catalogs.
